Some fun facts about this quest!
After you accept the quest, but before you use Light's Summon:
If you fly all the way out to the Sunwell Ramparts, there won't be any NPCs there apart from a handful of guards. You'll also be able to sky-ride in the area. After you accept the quest, and then use Light's Summon:
If like I did, despite standing exactly where you should end up, you'll actually be teleported to an instanced version of the Sunwell to continue the campaign.
When in this instance, you won't be able to fly (as Opressive Void debuff is in effect), and if you stray too far, you will get automatically teleported back to the start position.
You CAN however, use your Hearthstone to port out. If you then fly back, you will get a quest marker directing you to Silvermoon's portal room, then a direction to use the portal to go back to Stormwind, then to Dornogal where the Image of Lady Liadrin is, and you can be teleported back to the instance. (Alternatively, you can just use the Light's Summon in your bags)Bonus tip: If you walk into the Sunwell's water, you'll die.
Quest

You can't hearthstone out or use teleporting toys after you get teleported to the Isle of Quel'Danas.
A skip is not offered as an option if you are already on the isle. If you accidentally got there on an alt when you wanted to skip the introduction instead, you can use dungeon or raid teleports with 8h cd's to get out.
If your game keeps crashing during the loading screen whenever you try and teleport give it a few tries. After 3-4 attempts I finally was able to continue.
That is every comment on this page.
