Fade to Black

Fade to Black is a Horde-only quest for level 5-30 in Azshara. It is step 77 of 88 in the Azshara storyline. It rewards 3 reward items, 5,150 experience and money.

Description

Now we put an end to all this madness. We need to rout the black dragonflight from Azshara entirely before they can return with any communication for their master.

I still don't know what they have up their sleeve for capturing us, so I'd like to ask this one last thing of you - go into sable ridge and kill their leaders, Twilight Lord Katrana and Malicion.

If things get hairy, I will come help. I just don't want to risk falling into whatever trap they set for Azuregos.

For everyone having trouble with the dragon evade bugging, all you have to do is when you engage the orc don't kill her asap. You have to give the dragon a few moments to fly overhead then the event should happen as scripted.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Ice ColdAzshara · Level 5-30

I've got the perfect solution to our drake problem. My very own Cryomatic 16. I originally developed it to freeze my workers during transport and between shifts so that I wouldn't have to feed and entertain them, but there were... complications.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Farewell, MinnowAzshara · Level 5-30

Thank you, little one. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in the throes of love and lose sight of things, even as a dragon. I plan to rededicate myself entirely to making sure Kalec never steps up to take Malygos' place. It's the most noble cause I can think of. You should head back to the harbor.
