Ghoulish Effigy

Ghoulish Effigy is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Duskwood. It is step 18 of 42 in the Duskwood storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Duskwood at 87.4, 35.2. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Out here on the outskirts of town, it's a wonder the walking dead haven't eaten me! In fact, just yesterday a pack of ghouls was pounding on the walls of my tower!

I want to make an effigy - a kind of "scarecrow" for ghouls. To do that I need some ghoul ribs. You can find plenty of them on the fetid corpses wandering Manor Mistmantle's grounds, north of Darkshire...

Get the ribs for me, and I will repay you with some coin.

If you can't find enough ghouls at Mistmantle Manor, you can go to Raven Hill cemetary too. It's not marked on the map, but a lot of ghouls there do drop the quest item as well. No idea how long this has been the case, just putting it down here.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Ogre ThievesDuskwood · Level 10-30

A few weeks ago I was picking herbs far from my house, and a band of ogres attacked me! I ran, and I was forced to leave behind a crate of precious tools and herbs. After they chased me off, the ogres swaggered back to the ogre mound in southern Duskwood.

  • Note to the MayorDuskwood · Level 10-30

Take this note to Ello Ebonlocke, the Mayor of Darkshire. He and I are old friends...and when he reads it and discovers what you did for me...I'm sure he'll be just as happy as I am! Hahahaha!
