Don't make the mistake of attacking the goat then trying to shear the dead body. You have to use the "Goat Shears" quest item on the goat while it is its wandering state. It will react in one of two ways, either attack you or run off feared.

To complete the quest use [item=153596] on goats to obtain [item=155681]
As usually some goats will reach good and will not make any troubles to you, others will attack.
And btw goats may be killed after you shove them but not before you did.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Helping HenryTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

The Roughnecks told me to clear the rocks in the forest. I didn't know they meant THIS! You look tough, you have to help me! I'll get killed if I get anywhere near that thing. I'm also super allergic to bees...

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Bears and the BeesTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

Hey, while you're out, would you grab some honey for me and the boys? Plenty of hives out in the woods, but I'd be careful if you don't want to dirty your delicate house cat hands. Bears out here tend to get pretty vicious when they smell honey.
