Kill the [npc=25623] mechanicals you'll find in the fields of Farshire. When you kill one, use [item=35943] to transform it into a [npc=26561]. A [npc=26658] will spawn and make a beeline straight for the Harvester, but you should be able to avoid the fight if you want to.

Perhaps I'm just a bit slow, but it took me a while to realize that after you kill the Harvester, you had to immediately right click on the Harvester and then right click the quest item given to you. I probably wasted 15 minutes figuring this out and as no one else posted this, I will do so to help the other slow people on this board!

What to do

StorylineBorean Tundra, step 17 of 182

Description

Ok, I've got it! The rewiring is a little complicated, but nothing a clever {class} like you can't handle. Take my tools and put some of the harvest collectors out of commission. Once they're down use the tools to plug all the red wires into the blue sockets. That'll make them go into self-defense mode. Hurry, {name}. Before long there won't be anything left to save.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Take No ChancesBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

I heard what you told Gerald and I don't like it one bit. If cultists managed to poison the grain in the mines with their foul plague, they could've easily done the same with the grain outside. We don't have time to sort the good grain from the bad. We must act quickly and burn it all.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fruits of Our LaborBorean Tundra · Level 10-30

The Scourge just keeps coming... but we can't give up! Listen, <name>. Inside that mine there's a cart with the last of the ore the Alliance is going to see on this side of the continent for a long time. The problem is the cart release is locked.
