Shark Week

Shark Week is a quest for level 30-35 in Dread Wastes. It is step 48 of 72 in the Dread Wastes storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dread Wastes at 54.7, 72.2. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

Crabbing is our big money-maker, but we send all kinds of goods back around the wall. Oils, plants, even rare minerals - the sea's bounty is rich out here!

Right now the big craze in the markets back home is thresher teeth. Apparently they make great necklaces?

Threshers are all over the Shelf of Mazu to the west. Bring me lots of teeth!

When you kill a shark and get a shark jaw, you only get one. You have to remember to dismantle it for the teeth. Otherwise, you're going to kill a lot of sharks and wonder why it's taking so long.

Good news everyone!

A bug fix report says you can now loot up to 10 unopened thresher jaws. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/7207170/Patch_505_Hotfixes_-10_5_2012

  • On the CrabDread Wastes · Level 30-35

I just got word that a string of pots we dropped this morning hit it BIG. We're on the crab! Problem is, the rips are getting stronger and we lost track of some of the pots. They're just sitting out there, filled with spiky blue GOLD! I need you back out there.

After this quest

  • Reeltime StrategyDread Wastes · Level 30-35

I never thought I'd see the day, but for the first time since... well, EVER, Master Angler Ju Lien asked for some help with his lines. Apparently the sea is going crazy today and he can't keep up. See if you can give him a hand. He's fishing just south of here.
