I had some trouble with this at first but i soon found out theres a few more q's in between handing in "Somethin' for the boys", and picking up "Personal Request".
After hadning in "Somethin' for the boys" you proceed West, over to the crucible area and do the three quests at 50,60 (Around 50 yards south of the crucible quest giver) the three quests are as follows;
1. The fighting spirit,
2. The scent of battle,
3. The loyalty of clan mulan.Upon completing theese quests return to Iain Firebeard and pick up "Personal Request".
Happy questing!
No you dont have to do those 3 "group" quests, fly a little further to 50.7 60.2 and get "The Loyalty of the Clan" from Duglas Mullan.

Cleaned up the camp and ran errands for Forgehammer? Not bad for a wee {class}. Take these to Iain at Firebeard Cemetery, and he should reward you for a job well done.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Anything We Can Get
Stay back and forge more weapons? Pah! A Forgehammer has ne'er been afraid of battle! Who needs the safety of home to make weapons? Besides - there is oodles of raw material out here. Those Dragonmaw weapons are worthless, but they can be smelted down to make actual weapons.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Personal Request
Shame about the Doyles. It's a fair miracle that as many of us made it out as is though, so can't count it as much of a surprise. Those louts at Thundermar are cowards. Even after tellin' them it was Keegan askin', they won't set foot outside of their town.
