The weps are drops off of the Dragonmaw and they are "stuck" in the wood supports of the tower like hatchets and other places .They do sparkle like all gathering quests but kinda hard to see.

When you click on the fallen dragonmaw, you'll get the choice to kill them or help them up. If you help them up, they'll drop their weapon when they run and you can pick it up.
Look for weapon 'racks' along walls of building at 62,48 and on stockade fence

What to do
Description
Stay back and forge more weapons? Pah! A Forgehammer has ne'er been afraid of battle! Who needs the safety of home to make weapons? Besides - there is oodles of raw material out here. Those Dragonmaw weapons are worthless, but they can be smelted down to make actual weapons. Bring me 8 Dragonmaw weapons so me daughter and I can forge real weapons out of them.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Death Worthy of a Dragonmaw
The Twilight sacked this town, killin' most of the Dragonmaw that lived in it. A few survived though, and they're not right keen on us takin' liberties with their supplies. Not that that matters much. Well, I'm not right keen on them attackin' my boys.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Somethin' for the Boys
Cleaned up the camp and ran errands for Forgehammer? Not bad for a wee <class>. Take these to Iain at Firebeard Cemetery, and he should reward you for a job well done.
