Trust Fall

Trust Fall is a quest for level 10-54 in Maldraxxus. It is step 7 of 8 in the Archival Protection storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Maldraxxus at 45.1, 32.1. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 11,050 experience and money.

Description

Let us ponder the meaning of the Archivist's last words: "Victory only belongs to those brave enough to fall."

Hmm. It could be reference to the Volume of Victory. That is the most well-known of all the writings said to be kept in this tower.

That book is priceless, <name>. I mean that almost literally. We must do whatever is necessary to find it!

But, uh... What do you suppose "brave enough to fall" refers to?

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Archival ProtectionMaldraxxus · Level 10-54

The rarest volumes are kept at the top of this tower, protected by an entity called the Archivist. This stoic guardian is incorruptible. Intractable. Completely uninterested in striking a fair bargain! Its utter lack of business acumen is really quite upsetting. Ah, well.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Complete SetMaldraxxus · Level 10-54

This is only volume one? We can't just take the first volume. A rare item like this is only useful if it's in a complete set! Grab as many of the other volumes as you can, I will have to prepare a larger expedition to remove all of these volumes.
