.Quest Name:Start and descriptionStory line start from [npc=166657] 40 33 in Maldraxxus. Follow Ta'eran to the Sepulcher of Knowledge and hear his proposal."Read the rune stones of the five houses, then honor them by performing the correct /emote at each stone. After honor them will come mobs to kill as well use to correct Stone/emote:

The Archival Protection storyline is a breath of fresh air in Maldraxxus.
In the first 4 quests, adventurers lay the groundwork to enter the Sepulcher of Knowledge. This is a repository of books on military strategy. The last 4 quests are fun and a throwback to Legion quests in the Nar'thalas Academy in Azsuna. Once inside, chase the books. [npc=166806] is your quest giver.6.Kill [npc=161896]. You'll also need to kill the adds, the 2 [npc=170662]. Sometimes there are other players in the tower that can help.

Archival Protection StorylineQuestComments2.Honor physical rune stones. Do an emote in chat (like /kneel) suggested by the message on each stone. This invokes a hostile shade. There is a stone for each of the Maldraxxus Houses. Stone locations are shown on the mini-map as white circles. The order does NOT matter, despite quest instructions.3.Slay 8 [npc=163415]s. Most [npc=163415]s have low health. Wait for those to spawn and check the mini map for the borders of the quest area.4.The quest name is a reference to the leyline quests in Aszuna. But this isn't Power Grid which involved the complicated routing of high and low power ley lines around corners.
Start by clicking on the ornate power crystals: East Power Crystal and West Power Crystal. Then activate the regular green crystals. The East and West Power Crystal will activate 2 of these. The idea is to direct 2 power lines back to the 2 power obelisks. If power isn’t running where you want it to go, click on the East and West power crystals to redirect current. Repeat clicking may change the direction of the current. See if clicking on regular green crystals improves the directional flow. This is just trial and error.5.Collect multiple editions of 8 books. There are books on 3 levels. You can start on the second level. There are minor hazards on the stairs, balls and laser beams. They do little damage and are easy to avoid. Beware [npc=161896] on the top floor. It's protected by 2 flying book mobs [npc=170662]. Don't fight the Tomes, click on any books, and go downstairs. You won't get credit for killing [npc=161896] until you collect all books and [npc=166806] gives you the quest Archival Protection.6.Kill [npc=161896]. You'll also need to kill the adds, the 2 [npc=170662]. Sometimes there are other players in the tower that can help.

Description
The rarest volumes are kept at the top of this tower, protected by an entity called the Archivist. This stoic guardian is incorruptible. Intractable. Completely uninterested in striking a fair bargain! Its utter lack of business acumen is really quite upsetting. Ah, well. I fear we have no choice but to dispatch this impediment. Shall we?
