TheWoWDBThere's a bug if you are just starting the quest and in the Torghast entrance. One of the quest objectives will be to "Exit Torghast through the exit door (Optional)" even though you haven't completed the "Break the Chain" objective. So you go through the exit door and are redirected to Torghast, then you are redirected through the exit door, and so on...
Anyways, ignore this objective. Take the portal to Torghast and enter the Runecarver's Oubliette using the door immediately to the right (the door you unlocked earlier in this quest chain). Then, talk to Runecarver to continue with this quest.
