Torment for the Taking is a quest for level 60 in The Maw, added in Shadowlands. It rewards 1 reputation reward.
<A broker device has been abandoned here. It seems like it was being used to siphon energy from rifts of soul energy that have erupted in the area.
The brokers surely would not have sought to harness this energy if it didn't have a use. Perhaps you should finish what they started.>

I reached 100 Manifested Torment, solo, quest did not update, and all ground nodes lost interaction, could not complete quest and had to abandon. I think I got exactly 100/100 which caused it to bug out, which is stupid because it should be considered complete. Just had to abandon and do it a 2nd time.
Quest starts at 28 47.03. Click on brown fissures on ground. Most are near quest giver.
This quest is currently bugged if you are in a group. If you are getting no progress when interacting with the fissures just leave your party (and maybe abandon the quest as well) and try again.
| Type | Reward | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Reputation | Ve'nari | +75 |
Ve'nari knows more about the Maw than anyone, and she might share a fraction of that information with you if you earn her regard.
Reputation group: Shadowlands.
Other quests in The Maw that reward Ve'nari reputation: Rule 4: Make A List (+180), Rule 5: Be Audacious (+100), Rule 6: Concealment is Everything (+100), Rule 1: Have an Escape Plan (+1), Rule 3: Trust is Earned (+15), Eye of the Scryer (+75).
Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
Objective areaIn-game waypoint: /way #1543 28.0 47.0
TheWoWDB/way #1543 28.0 47.0Map coordinates of the pins above. An area the client draws as a shape is given by the centre of its points.
Quests whose map markers the client places closest to this one on The Maw, nearest first. Distances are straight lines between the markers.
Flight points closest to the quest’s first objective area marker on The Maw:
Straight-line distances in yards between the quest’s own map markers (QuestPOI) and the client’s flight-point positions (TaxiNodes); flight paths and terrain are not modelled.
First seen in build 12.0.7.68887 (Midnight patch 12.0.7, the oldest build in our datamine).
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
