A Grave Chance

A Grave Chance is a legendary quest for level 60 in The Maw. It is step 12 of 13 in the Torghast storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Maw at 47.0, 41.7. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

First you'll need a vessel to house anima and a way to expel it. I happen to possess such a device, which I'll be pleased to give to you.

For a price, of course.

You recall Zovaal's Cauldron, I trust? The denizens there were forged in unholy fire. Assuming their anima is of a similar nature, it should be able to melt even the metals of the tower.

With my device and their anima, I believe you can achieve your goal, Maw Walker.

On my latest alt I can't do this, without great difficulty, because the covenant invasion is taking place right outside Venari's sanctum. It's not easy to get the enemies I need without running the gauntlet of gold elites running around. I still have the eye, and can't mount, because I haven't done that yet, ( I have done it on my main) so why is the covenant invasion right in front of me. Shouldn't I be phased out of that? I realize that on Tuesday it will go somewhere else.

Hi. So, my friend can't seem to get through this quest. They collect all the items and purchase the item from Ve'nari, yet it still won't register that they have purchased the Anima Supricifer from Ve'nari. They submitted a ticket to Blizzard and have received no fix from it, even going through another weekly reset with the same problem. I can't seem to find anyone else who has encountered this problem, and am unsure what else to say to them. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • A Damned PactThe Maw · Level 60

Yes... I begin to remember. Power. Power with a purpose. That is what I can offer. Runes. Runes are the key. I've recalled some of them, but to infuse them into your equipment, I require my hands. Well, one hand would suffice. Both would be better. Find a way to free me from my bonds, mortal.

After this quest

  • The Weak LinkThe Maw · Level 60

This ought to be enough to break the bonds that hold your newfound ally. <Ve'nari pauses for a moment.> Before you do so, I offer a word of warning. No creature imprisoned in that place should be trusted. Tread carefully, mortal. After all, it would be a shame to lose so valuable a business partner.
