This quest seems bugged. I rode in with the alpaca. Got the quest completed. Tried to turn it in while the alpaca rode in another direction.
After turning it in I was still attached to the alpaca with the lasso. Couldn´t get rid of it. Finally I hearthstoned out:-(

Have been running around this quest area for 15 minutes, have abandoned quest, relogged, accepted it again, even left the area but not a single alpaca to be seen. There are no other players in the area. So now I'm stuck on the war campaign.

--Update; ticket was answered by a gm. Like some have mentioned before, it's a WQ that is causing these alpacas to disappear. They're looking into it but we should be able to continue our quests when the WQ isn't active.

Description

Did you see? Did you see them? The floofy alpacas?! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A... I mean, ahh, ahem! I would like to acquire an alpaca. To study. For scientific reasons. Nothing to do with floofiness at all. Here, this should help you wrangle one back here.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

The entirety of our copter's hold was reserved for bombs. There's actually still a lot of bombs left inside. Unfortunately, that meant that we weren't able to pack sufficient water and rations for our survival. Desert natives hoard supplies efficiently.

<Halford looks over the map again.> The final Reliquary digsite is southwest of here. <name>, you and Shandris are responsible for laying the explosives at the digsite. I'll work with Zoidfuse to establish a safe position to detonate from.
