Unbroken Bonds

Unbroken Bonds is a quest for level 60 in Ardenweald. It is step 17 of 17 in the Drust to Drust storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 46.1, 52.4. It rewards 4 reward items, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The Drust will pay for this foul curse that they've unleashed upon us.

We have lost too many allies... too many friends to give up now. Even though we cannot save those who have fallen into possession, we can end their torment. I will instruct the hunt to put down all possessed they encounter.

Please deliver this report to the Winter Queen. She must be told what we have learned.

Thank you for your service, <name>. You are a true friend and guardian of Ardenweald.

It's not often we fail at the missions we're given in this game. I actually didn't believe it at first, momentarily thinking I could just retake the purification quest or something. This story line didn't turn out happily at all.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Ritual of PurificationArdenweald · Level 60

I have finished making preparations for the ritual. The moment of truth has come. The Drust fetish that Ulfar gave you will channel the ritual's power into Gweyir. It should counteract the curse that imprisons her mind. This will not be pleasant. It may not even work.

The storyline at a glance
