Nox Root

Nox Root is a quest for level 60 in Ardenweald. It is step 13 of 17 in the Drust to Drust storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 46.2, 56.4. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

In order to perform the ritual, I will need some nox root from Darkreach.

It is a unique plant that only grows within soil that has been corrupted by Drust magic.

Darkreach lies to the west, not far from my den. What was once a peaceful, verdant grove is now filled with blight and ruin.

I will travel to the Heart of the Forest to prepare the ritual. Meet me there when you have gathered the nox root.

Evidentially they put in this quest just in case, by this point, if you had any doubts these quests are time consuming garbage.

If they had made the number of mushrooms 6 maybe...

There are tons of mobs here, tons of pats and the mushrooms are hard to find.

Just an fyi, there are Banners around that if you "capture" them you'll have to defend them against 3 waves of mobs. As far as I can tell, you get zero reward if you win. You just see some text that says The Hunt has gained ground against the Drust.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Return to the DenArdenweald · Level 60

There may be a way to break the curse and free your friend's mind, but it will require some work. Ulfar was wise to send you to me. He knew that a portion of Gorak Tul's power would be necessary, but the other reagents we need do not exist on Azeroth. My den is not far from here.

After this quest

  • Witch's SatchelArdenweald · Level 60

I sent Ara'lon to steal a witch's satchel from the Drust... a dangerous task from which he has yet to return. The Drust's nightscreamers carry many reagents we need to perform the ritual. We cannot proceed without one. You must go to the Oaken Assembly to procure one of their satchels...
