An Audience With The Archmage (Alliance)

An Audience With The Archmage is an Alliance-only quest for level 20-40 in Talador. It is step 13 of 25 in the Establishing your Outpost storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Talador at 75.0, 31.2. It rewards 675 experience and money.

Description

I'm pleased to report that your Arcane Sanctum is up and running, commander!

Everything is exactly as the blueprint says... except for this note Baros scrawled on the bottom. "Don't forget to connect the sanctum to the ley line network!"

Commander, I'm a foreman, not a mage. I... have absolutely no idea how to do that.

We've found Archmage Khadgar and some other Kirin Tor not far from here. To the east, near the mountains. Perhaps we should ask them for a hand?

Couldn't figure out how to change outposts as Foreman Eksos didn't give me anything. I figured out you need to finish the rest of the main quests in Talador first. I used btWQuests Draenor to track what Im missing and show where to pick up the missing quests. Once you've finished all other Talador quests go back to Eksos and he'll give you an option to pay 5k gold for buildings. The drafting table will appear next to him on the ground in the building entrance. Choose the arcane building and this quest will become available.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • The Only Way to TravelTalador · Level 20-40

Call me cautious but I kept a few flares just in case we needed to quickly escape. I'm glad that wasn't needed but we could still use the ride back to the artillery tower. Are you ready sir?

  • Making AcquaintancesTalador · Level 20-40

It's nice to see someone else taking a vested interest in the arcane arts, you know. It's all too rare these days if you ask me. Unfortunately, I must meet Cordana to handle an important matter, but we're in luck!
