A quick suggestion for this quest. Along with this quest you also get On Even Ground, in which you recieve an Elementium Grapple Line.
When you assist Tawn Winterbluff, she is already fighting a Servant of Therazane. If you use the grapple line on this add, it will significantly weaken the Servant and lets you kill two birds with one stone.

I turned in On Even Ground before doing this quest. I figured out that if you kite the Servant of Therazane away, it will relieve the npc. The Servant will probably follow you for quite a while, though.
Likewise, if you turn in "On Even Ground" before you go about relieving the members of the Earthen Ring, you will have an extremely hard time relieving the last two members due to the immense amount of health the elites have. Don't make that mistake. Keep the grapple quest until you've relieved all three.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Very Earth Beneath Our Feet
Only one piece of the World Pillar remains, and it is in the hands of the Stonemother herself. Worse, the temple has come under siege by elementals and giants. It's not a terrible leap of logic to assume they're acting by her will. Go out and meet the elementals in battle to the northwest.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Core of Our Troubles
Elementals are chaotic by nature, but dis kind of organized aggression is out of character. More so down here where dere deaths be a bit more permanent. I suspect dis is Therazane the Stonemother's doin', but I have to be sure. Destroy da Irestone Rumblers and bring me their cores.
