Description

We were too late. All of the strength between us wasn't enough.

<Arator looks over his shoulder, wary. Then, he crouches and places his hand on Alleria's shoulder. She responds only with a ragged exhale.>

Let's fall back. The ren'dorei have been exploring the wilds while we've been following Lothraxion. We might be able to find their encampment nearby.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Reliable EnemiesVoidstorm · Level 88-90

The ren'dorei scouts report a familiar enemy upon this world: ethereals. Wretched scavengers and bandits that plague every corner of the Great Dark Beyond. The Shadowguard are the worst of them. We'll handle them. This... thing we've taken prisoner must know what they're doing here, and much else.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Work DisruptionVoidstorm · Level 88-90

The Shadowguard may once have defied Xal'atath, but they're part of her army now. Whatever they're doing with the energies gathered here must be stopped. Put down their soldiers, harvesters, and machines. I'll do the same, and meet you deeper within.
