Recruiting Efforts

Recruiting Efforts is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-60 in Tiragarde Sound. It is step 10 of 12 in the Freehold storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tiragarde Sound at 77.4, 83.9. It rewards 6 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The captain of the Irontide Raiders, Harlan Sweete, has it in his tiny head that he's in charge of Freehold now.

He's been forcing the smaller crews to pledge their loyalty, and littering the whole town with his damn recruiting posters.

Do me a favor and take down any of them posters you find. Just don't let them catch ya doin' it, or it's a long walk off a short plank.

A WORD OF ADVICE: You will be given an Irontide pirate disguise (extra action button) for the Dress to Impress, which allows you to do that one and several others, as you will be neutral to Freehold citizens. DO NOT DO Fairwind's "Friends" until you've done (and turned in) everything else in Freehold. When that quest is complete, you will lose your disguise! It makes it very hard to do the other quests or even just to turn them in, because you'll have to kill everything in your path!

Quests in the main Freehold line: The Keys to Success in Freehold, Raise a Glass!, Rodrigo's Roost, The Big Job and Fairwind's "Friends".

Freehold side quests: Recruiting Efforts, Flew the Coop, Rodrigo's Revenge, Missing Treasure!, Loaded for Bear, The Beatings Will Continue, and Rig Robbing.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Big JobTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

So the Irontide Raiders are bringing the various outlaw crews together for a big job using weapons provided by the Ashvane Company. Something tells me they're not going fishing. We should see if members of the smaller crews are carrying any notes or orders. I trust you can handle it?

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rodrigo's RoostTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

We should check in with Cyrus and Taelia before we get in too deep. <Flynn pens a note on a scrap of parchment and tucks it into a small courier bag.> This is all of the evidence we've gathered so far linking the Ashvane Trading Company to the weapons and pirates here in Freehold.
