Rule 3: Trust is Earned

Rule 3: Trust is Earned is a quest for level 55-60 in The Maw. It is step 16 of 33 in the Among the Kyrian storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Maw at 47.8, 40.8. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 10,200 experience and money.

Description

Before you leave this cursed realm, there is one final task you must complete for me.

The Mawsworn regularly transfer souls to various blocks of Torghast from many different areas in the Maw.

I happen to know of one such area. Place this beacon there so I may be informed when the next transfer happens.

And if you are seen by the enemy... well, you are known for your prowess in combat, yes?

A transparent object will appear at the quest objective waypoint.. randomly (I sat here maybe 5-10 minutes total)

I was unable to click on it the first time it showed up for whatever reason the second time I had a glowy hand interaction icon, and after a short channel on it, I got a cutscene and the first quest objective was completed.

Where to go

  • Rule 2: Keep a Low ProfileThe Maw · Level 55-60

Though you may wish to depart with your precious souls in tow, we now have additional matters to settle first. The Eye of the Jailer is upon you. And that does not bode well for either of us. Take this device. You will reinforce my wards to ensure he does not take notice of me as well.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Hopeful NewsThe Maw · Level 60

The terms of our bargain have been met. You may depart with the souls you acquired. Perhaps the fate of this "Baine" is of interest to you or your allies. I suggest you return to Oribos and consult them. No need to rush. After all, those held within Torghast are tortured for centuries.
