Quest Log

Rule 1: Have an Escape Plan

Rule 1: Have an Escape Plan is a quest for level 55-60 in The Maw. It is step 14 of 33 in the Among the Kyrian storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Maw at 47.0, 41.7. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

Many doomed souls suffer within the Maw. You must be careful if you do not wish to join them.

Your Soulkeeper can hold a small number of souls until you return to your covenant. But that will be of little benefit if you do not survive this place yourself.

There is a substance, stygia, that is found on some creatures within the Maw. The stronger the soul, the more stygia they have.

Collect some of it for me and I can fashion it into many things you will find quite useful.

I've spent around 10-15minutes looking for that "soulkeeper" as quests are so informative...
Click the soul when you release it from cage. Job done ;d

As of 9.1.5 it seems like saving souls no longer provides stygia which SUCKS for this quest. Especially for a new toon with no gear who can't kill elites. Having to gather 1 stygia per kill makes this quest take WAY TOO LONG.

If you're starting this in 9.1.5 like me, Soul Well rewards 85 [currency=1767]. So do that and you can complete this in no time. You won't see it on the map, but you can do it when visiting the location anyway.
