Stone is at 44.14, 38.04 in Voldun. Quest has you travel a little south to collect Polished Fire Spinnel on the ground. Collect 8, right click on them to "polish" them, turn in quest. Reward is 23g, 40s. EDIT. This is part of the Jewelcrafting questline with the Jewelhammer's Focus. Check the comment section here: [npc=150883] for more info. Once you do this quest the stone will be viewable on your map and you can return (once per day?) to harvest gems from it. Once you click it the gems will appear in a basket just in front of the stone.

After creating a [item=153716], jewelcrafters can pick up free gems every day from of six shrines, each corresponding to a gem colour.

Only shrines that have been unlocked (by completing a quest) show on the map, and can be interacted with.

For reference: You need to have done the JC questline ([storyline=887]) that unlocks [item=153716], before this quest becomes available. However, you don't need to have [item=153716] crafted to do the quest. You do need to craft it to access the daily gems from the shrine though.

Description

<Surveying the shrine, you believe that the sandy winds in this area have worn down the embedded gems, producing odd shapes and cracks in some. Looking at your notes, the earthen mentions coming across dunes sprinkled with orange gems. He said it reminded him of the soft sunlight in this area. Checking your notes, it appears that these dunes were located south of your current location.>
