at first i was really confused about this quest. but after some trial and error, i figured out what they want. look at the NAME of each formation in the quest list. then look at the PATTERN that the other cats are standing in. you simply pick the glowing yellow cat slot that would complete that formation according to the NAME. pretty much all of the patterns are symmetrical. once you fill in each pattern, the cats will move to the next formation, and you'll have new yellow spots to click on. after completing all of the patterns, simply take your pet cat back to his resting place on the pedestal and you're done!

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Superior ProgrammingBastion · Level 10-52

Phalynx listen to their orders. Never disobey! Larions are wild beasts. Can attack. Could eat a steward, probably! Untamed larion lives close. Has chased many stewards, very scary! Please take care of it.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Antiquated MethodologyBastion · Level 10-52

You possess the correct mindset for retraining a phalynx. I believe you could find great success here. Before you commit, I implore you to go across the hill and introduce yourself to my rival, Nemea.
