Strays

Strays is a quest for level 80 in Isle of Dorn. It is step 11 of 17 in the Ties That Bind storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Isle of Dorn at 29.0, 61.7. It rewards 5,900 experience and money.

Description

Kurdran Wildhammer has come to train the new Stormriders in aerial maneuvers. Thrall says his clan rides gryphons--much like the Stormriders ride stormrooks--so he should be of great help to us.

Unfortunately, a few of our new recruits seem to have, uh, wandered off with their stormrooks. I wanted them to have a chance to bond, but it's time to come home.

Would you mind rounding them up? Thrall and I are putting together something special for these "rookies" lessons.

I think there's a typo in the quest, it says: "Thrall says his clan rides gryphons"... I think they mean to say Kurdran Wildhammer seeing as he's right besides Thrall.
Edit: just to be clear, this is a copy of the in-game text as of 28-08-2024.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
