The Fleet Arrives

The Fleet Arrives is a quest for level 80 in Isle of Dorn, added in The War Within. It is step 2 of 8 in the Against the Current storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Isle of Dorn at 46.3, 52.4. It rewards 5,900 experience and money.

Description

From the moment we crashed on this isle, it were clear as crystal we'd be needin' allies if we hoped to face Xal'atath.

Jaina and Thrall took off tae muster reinforcements, an' you and I set tae work seein' what could be done here with the earthen.

An' I have to say we've done well on our own, haven't we?

<Moira smiles at you proudly.>

But it looks like our reinforcements may have finally arrived. Peacekeepers spied ships comin' this way. Go take a look an' confirm the good news!

This quest was bugged for me for the past 2 days. The marker would show up on the zone map, but disappear when entering the city. There were absolutely no quest givers to be found.

What fixed it was opening the Adventure Guide and accepting "The War Within" quest there. For me this appeared to be the lead-in quests in Silithus, even though I'd already completed them and every other part of the WW campaign. Clicking the button did not give me a quest, but it did something to my character/phase that made the quest giver finally show up down by the bay.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Surface BoundIsle of Dorn · Level 78-80

    <name>, the moment is upon us. We must make haste to the city of Dornogal, where our allies await. Only together do we stand a chance against Harbinger's machinations.

After this quest

  • Embassies and EnvoysIsle of Dorn · Level 80

    I feared what we would find when we returned here, but I am proud to see that though we were forced to leave, you were able to forge a friendship with the earthen and stand against the nerubians. With your strength, we will win this.
