It takes far too long to kill the Colossal Titan Construct. This really is not engaging gameplay, Blizz!

In fact this whole questline was a buggy, poorly executed mess. It smells like the work of interns to me. Or perhaps new employees who don't yet know how WoW quests are properly made. Maybe both.

...

EDIT: It's over three months later and I just did this quest again, twice (you need to do this ridiculously long multi-part, multi-zone questline four times in order to collect the red/yellow campaign tint of the Hallowfall set for each armour type, which is a whole other issue that should not exist in the age of the Warband with its core tenet of 'respecting player time').

Anyway, it seems like they fixed this particular quest so that it only takes two or three passes at the construct, which is far more acceptable (that was using the non-skyriding option). Also, I encountered no bugs whilst running through this part of the questline, so kudos to Blizzard for fixing some of that mess. However, it should not have been released in that state in the first place! I really do not like this new ethos of 'release it broken and fix it later'.

Oh well; welcome to the future.

Description

So, the titans sent their ancient machines against their disobedient children. Would our creators have us protect the Coreway at the expense of all else? At the expense of Azeroth herself? Are we meant to preside over a road untraveled, leading to the world's dead heart? No, today we are all Unbound, and we will fight for our freedom. For Azeroth!

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Merrix and Adelgonn will be expecting an update. On my way here, I heard that they're all heading to the Proscenium to commit to the war officially. You should go and brief them on the readiness of the Stormriders. I'd like a moment with Zarein here. But we'll be along soon.
