Can someone explain what the hell Blizzard is thinking with some of these quests? Why make them disappear after one pickup? They have made almost every quest item able to be picked up by many people. They have done it with professions for years. Why the hell are they regressing in quest design? I feel like there are several things like this in the shadowlands. Is it some misguided attempt to make it "hardcore"? In that case it's failed. It's not hard, it's tedious.

Yeah, this is really weird. Before 9.0.5 everyone used to be able to pick them up and now suddenly it took me 10 minutes to find 2 ingots. I'm not sure what their idea is with changing this all of a sudden, but there's no way I can be bothered to do this daily now.

What to do
Description
<The runesmiths have imbued this ingot with an enchantment that causes it to burn with inextinguishable flames. It is likely that this metal is used to empower the Mawsworn protectors of Zovaal's Cauldron. Bringing some samples of this ore to Ve'nari could aid her attempts at unlocking the Jailer's secrets.>
