It's Time to Oil Up

It's Time to Oil Up is a Horde-only quest for level 15-30 in Felwood. It is step 48 of 69 in the Felwood storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Felwood at 56.4, 8.0. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Three things come out of Irontree Clearing: lumber, oil, and exhausted workers. The first two are pretty much the cause of the third, but I like to be efficient about things where I can.

I've got our shredders working triple unpaid overtime, and there's really nowhere in the schedule for them to get maintenance.

Use this grappling hook to nab some of the extra oil cans floating around camp and use them to oil up the shredders, would you?

I was confused about this quest at first, then I realized how it worked. You use the hook to grab the can, but instead of it immediately applying to the Shredder, it just gets listed in your inventory. Then you just use the can that's in your inventory on the Shredder.

  • Enemy at our RootsFelwood · Level 15-30

The goblins are already upon us! We have tried everything in our power to warn the goblins to leave Irontree Clearing before we resorted to violence. As they turned a blind ear to us, we struck, and now rather than spare the forest they would lay down their lives for greed.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Wisps of the WoodsFelwood · Level 15-30

I have toiled long here with the Denmother to spread the teachings of Cenarius and the ways of the wild. She has gained much of my trust, and in return, I have been allowed to introduce the spirits of the forest to her students. The company of wisps is a great honor, as well as a useful blessing.
