We Need Weapons

We Need Weapons is a quest for level 45 in Suramar. It is step 9 of 17 in the Crafting War storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Suramar at 39.9, 51.4. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.

Description

So many of the rebels want to help in the coming battle. Our people have the will, they lack only the means.

They need weapons.

From what Khadgar has told me, the fortress of Black Rook has plenty of munitions we could use.

Travel to the fortress and place these beacons on some weapon caches there. Once placed, I can teleport them back.

If you are on the quest to obtain the new traits on a healing weapon, you will not be able place a telemancy beacon on one of the weapon caches, because it will disappear as soon as you get close to it due to phasing. Simply finish the new trait quest, and then come back to finish this.

You have to fly to Val'sharah and then go to Black Rook Hold (not an instance, just an area) and there three Telemancy Beacons. Find a hippogryph named Dusktalon, he will take you to the Hold.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Arming the RebelsSuramar · Level 45

The Nightfallen rebellion is growing in number, but they have not fought a real war in ages. Victoire and Silgryn are doing their best to train the new arrivals and could use an experienced hand. Go to them and show them some of the skills in battle you have picked up in your travels.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Citizens' ArmySuramar · Level 45

I can barely get these civilians to stand in a straight line. They are untrained, undisciplined, and underarmed. Still, they need to be ready for the real battle. Khadgar suggested we try some field training at the ruins of Black Rook Hold in Val'sharah.
