Description

<An old, booming voice fills your mind.>

Hmph. More are coming.

I would rather not lose more of myself, and I don't want you to think I'm not appreciative of the work you and Cort here have done.

How about you take a ride on the rings and give those oafs a good thrashing? We'll teach them not to mess with Marasmius and his fae rings!

Fun quest. I liked it a lot. :D

If it bugs out for you like it did me (where you can't turn in the quest), just do a /reload and it should let you back in. Not sure if this bug is reproducible, but I was pretty much spamming the ability button so that's probably why it bugged.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fighting For FungusArdenweald · Level 60

Behold, Marasmius! This is his home, his heart. Every mushroom in Ardenweald, maybe even all of the Shadowlands, stems from here. And the masked fae want to take him for their own purposes. As chief mushroomancer, I cannot abide this. Our foes may look mindless, but they are clever.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Through the VeilArdenweald · Level 60

I like you, youngling. You put in the work while the others sit in their fancy court, leaving old Marasmius to keep the fae rings thriving. Here, take one of my spores back with you to the Heart of the Forest. Find somewhere nice and cozy for me to rest, will you?
