In 2021 and the nature of "retail," is it too hard to ask for quests to be consistent with the past history of ALL quests?
In Ring Repair, the cave with the quest npc is marked on the map. As a bright Yellow question mark. In every other version of WoW when something is in a cave it shows a grayed out question mark to indicate that it's in a cave or a building. Is that so hard to program? In the following quest Fighting for Fungus, the NPC is even grayed out unless you're in the cave. Thanks?
While doing Mushroom for Improvement, press M. There's NOTHING to indicate where to go, what to do. It says "The Stalks", so if you were paying attention it's the same quest area. Which, by the way, never shows up on the world map. Please, point out "The Stalks" on your world map for me. You just have to know. Are they just *lazy* when it comes to making quests work like other quests, or..?

For those without coords, The Stalks are west of Dreamsong Fenn on your map. Be careful not to aggro any yellow mobs since they don't count toward the quest.
The turn-in point is where the tiny cave icon is on your world map, at the bottom of the waterfalls.
an old MUD I used to play had a typo report (like a bug report). all us grammar sticklers wish wow had one.

What to do
Description
The mushrooms are under attack! I need your help, or we risk losing it all! Some fae wearing strange masks came in and demanded to gain access to the rings. When I told them they were closed due to the drought, they attacked me! I'm too weak to fight back now, and I'm cut off from the center ring. These fae have destroyed so much, but there is something we can do. Sprinkle some of these spores on their corpses so we can regrow the rings. Even when slain, our enemies can still serve Ardenweald.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

- Silence in the Stalks
Hmm. Well that's not... great. But no cause for alarm, yet! It has been a long time since our ring withdrew from here, and we probably need to go to its source to get it to return! Unfortunately, I haven't heard from the Chief Mushroomancer, Cortinarius, since the crisis began.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Ring Repairs
The damage wrought here is severe, but it can be reversed. My master is weakened by all this destruction, but mushrooms are difficult to completely eradicate. By restoring power to the rings throughout the grove, we can strengthen them once again. Take this beacon.
