The Kunchong Whisperer

The Kunchong Whisperer is a quest for level 30-35 in Dread Wastes. It is step 28 of 58 in the Dread Wastes storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dread Wastes at 41.8, 72.0. It rewards 4,800 experience and money.

Description

To really connect with Kovok you need to challenge him mentally and physically. You must respect his strength and intelligence; only then will he allow you to really train him.

The muckscale tribe may provide an adequate test of his abilities and with you there he shouldn't be in danger.

Additionally, this will allow us to decrease their numbers in the Briny Muck.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Feed or Be EatenDread Wastes · Level 30-35

After years of working with the Kunchong I developed a theory; raising one from infancy would strengthen the bond and therefore strengthen the sonic connection. I had just begun training Kovok when I was chosen for encasement.

  • Falling to PiecesDread Wastes · Level 30-35

Why would the saurok have amber? More importantly, why would Oracle Hiss'ir be so protective of it? It is unlikely this came from the heavily guarded Zan'vess, so where did it come from? Perhaps the Klaxxi will know what to make of it.
