Nobody has ever said what you have to do to start the fire.
The location stated below is incorrect. The correct location is 35.70 35.60. It is Rexxar's campfire. Stand by it and right click the campfire (with wood in your bag of course). Click the campfire again to cook the meat.
I had trouble with this one. I killed the pigs and got the drops, but the meat disappeared from my inventory. Turns out you must have started the overnight stay, with the timer running, then kill pigs, harvest tree, build fire cook meat, eat, go kill pig, cook, eat, go kill pig, cook and eat. Three meals are enough.

Description
The life of a hunter should never be dull. Living in the wild you never know what will happen next, but you survive on skill and instinct. Show me you have the basic survival skills to live off the land.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Recruiting Rexxar
To do the most good, we need the best hunters at our side. Having you leading the order is a great start, but we'll need others who share your skill and expertise if we plan on making an impact.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Survive the Night
Now it's time to put your skills to the test. Your order seems to be a lot of watching and waiting without a lot of action. Prove me wrong. Show me that I might have something in common with the Unseen Path. If you survive a night in the wild, then I will consider joining your order.
