Touch the Untouchable

Touch the Untouchable is a quest for level 15-30 in Felwood. It is step 9 of 69 in the Felwood storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Felwood at 41.9, 72.0. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

I've added a drop of my very own essence to the ooze. Look for a glowing sigil to the west, at the edge of Shadowlurk Ridge. Stand on it, concentrate, and pour this stuff all over yourself. It should be enough to shift you into the nether and let you see what's REALLY there.

You won't be alone... the satyr's treasure is being guarded by the biggest voidstalker they could summon. Defeat him, and the treasure is yours.

And come back in one piece, or this crazy broad's gonna fry me!

I had the HARDEST time finding this thing. Following the other comments (specifically the location of 41, 75) helped me. But I thought I would add, if you look at the built-in quest assist, it currently shows the location as being on top of a ridge that is inaccessible. The actual location is immediately south of that marker, on the south side of that ridge. It's fairly close to the hills, a bright green circular design on the ground. It's hard to miss once you spot it.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • See the InvisibleFelwood · Level 15-30

Yeah, yeah, your stuck-up mage friend there hit it on the nose. The imps over at Shadowlurk Ridge are hiding the key to the satyr's barrier in the nether. It's right there, but you can't see it or touch it unless you're shifted. I guess you're out of luck though, because only imps can phase shift!

After this quest

  • Fight the PowerFelwood · Level 15-30

It's time for the final push against the Jadefire! If you're prepared to break through their foul barrier and bring the fight to their leader, I'd also ask your help against the lesser satyr. Our druids fight ferociously, but your strength can help turn the battle.
