Description

Aye, when we were out huntin' on the coast, we ran into this ridiculous lad in in a costume. He says he's tryin ta blend in with the murlocs... but I'm pretty sure he's just not right in the head.

One of ours stayed behind to keep an eye on him when we headed back to camp... mind checkin' it out?

Ye can ask Tamara over there for a ride.

Pre-requisites to That Guy in the Costume:

  2. Lion Stalkin'

  4. Moose Shootin'

  6. Bear Huntin'

These completed in turn led to:

  2. A Hunter at Heart

  4. Scout It Out

These completed opened up That Guy in the Costume.

Notes: I read that you may be able to get A Hunter at Heart before completing the initial three "huntin'/stalkin'/shootin'" quests, but I did not get it until after these were turned in. This is most likely because I did not turn in Note-Eating Goats until after/when I turned them in.

TLDR: Save yourself some effort, complete and turn in Note-Eating Goats before starting the three "huntin'/stalkin'/shootin'" quests!

  • I also completed Moose on the Loose, but I do not at this time believe it to be a pre- or co-requisite.

In Nesingwary's Retreat at 40.2, 52.7 in Highmountain, talk to the flightmaster, [npc=94973], and choose "Send me to Shipwreck Cove, please". Once you land, learn the new flightpoint, and turn in the quest about 50 yards to the east.

Note that if you're in Thundertotem in the middle of Highmountain (the circular building with two levels and a very tall elevator), it has its own coordinate system, different from Highmountain's. You'll want to take the elevator up to the flightmaster there and fly west back to Nesingwary's Retreat.

Murky is my favorite little fella. However, in order to lead a change in the murloc population here, he needs some awesome abilities. There are a lot of pufferfish around in the water, and I think that they could be a good resource for him. Kill a few and collect their eggs for Murky.
