Goblin Escape Pods is a quest for level 1-20 in The Lost Isles. It is step 2 of 72 in The Lost Isles storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Lost Isles at 27.9, 75.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 2,750 experience and money.

Description

<name>, I'm sorry, I thought you were dead!

This is just crazy. We sailed into a fight between the Alliance and Horde!

You know, our brothers and sisters still need to be rescued.

<He points out all of the escape pods in the water around you.>

I think I'm going to sit here a while longer and catch my breath. Can you swim around and let them out? Take my pair of thermohydratic flippers so you can get around faster.

Let Sassy know that I'll swim in shortly.

Ironically, the first escape pod you open is Gallywix's. When you free him, he says:

Trade Prince Gallywix says: Hello there, <name>. So nice of you to rescue me. No hard feelings, right?

Sadly, he's still a jerk to you even after you save his life.

Goblin Survivor: "[Name]? I heard you were dead."

... And where/when exactly did you hear that? After you got into an escape pod, while you were still in the escape pod, before you were freed from the escape pod? Did you have NBC news on your escape pod TV? :l

"Breaking news, fellow goblins-trapped-in-escape-pods-in-the-ocean!"
