On accepting the quest:
Meredy Huntswell says: Cole, c'mere. We're gonna flank our recruit and teach 'em how tae use Polymorph.
Private Cole says: Are you... going to turn me into a sheep?
Meredy Huntswell says: Why, Cole! I'd never do such a thing. Promise!Meredy and Cole walk to a nearby hill and become neutral, attackable mobs.
If you choose to Polymorph Cole...
Meredy Huntswell says: Yer polymorphed foe will wander around fer a bit. Use that tae yer advantage and fight whoever's left.
Meredy Huntswell says: Go on and hit him with an attack tae break the spell.
[ Hit Cole with anything to break Polymorph. ]
Private Cole says: You said you weren't gonna turn me into a sheep!
Meredy Huntswell says: I didn't! Our recruit did.Or if you Polymorph Meredy instead...
Private Cole says: Oh, I've heard of this tactic! You can keep one of your foes polymorphed while you focus on the other.
Private Cole says: Just remember that hitting your opponent will break the spell. Try knocking Meredy out of it.
[ Hit Meredy with anything to break Polymorph. ]
Meredy Huntswell says: Very funny, recruit. I think ye got the hang of this. Let's go back.

- A Mage's Knowledge
Ye got some good spells fer a novice mage. Ye might even be as good as I am one day! But ye don't know Polymorph! How could ye not know that? Polymorph's one of a mage's most useful spells. I can teach it tae ye, if ye can find me spellbook. Last I saw, the ogres threw me book in the lake. The LAKE!

By now, most hunters would have been trained in the art of trapping. Allow me to get you up to speed. We'll start with a freezing trap. In order to make one, you'll have to forage materials from your surroundings. Meredy can provide you with a mote of ice.
