The Oomlot tribe are named for the accent mark known as an "Umlaut"
The Umlaut is used in words such as Über, to change the sound of a letter.

Walk into the villiage and kill the Oomlot Shamans (not just any.. the ones near the goblins that look like they are trapped in a cyclone) to release the goblin captives.
Make sure to do this with Send a Message.
The Oomlot tribe is one big heavy metal reference. They throw up "the horns" and their totems are shaped like "the horns".
An umlaut is a pair of dots over vowels. Many heavy metal bands use them for decoration. They're also known as rock dots.
The tribesmen also look a little like Jack Black, so there's also that.

What to do
Description
The pygmies took most of our people back to their village. Who knows what evil they're up to? {name}, you have to go up there and free all of the captives before the pygmies work their voodoo on them! Izzy's already up near Oomlot Village to the southeast. She'll give you the heads-up on what's going down. Your pygmy helmet looks like it's in bad shape, but it should last long enough for you to get there. I hope.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Town-In-A-Box: Under Attack
<name>, you have to defend us! I had the eggheads deploy the town's cannon defenses, but it seems like there's an unlimited supply of these Oomlot warriors! Get your behind into one of those B.C. Eliminators and eliminate the pygmy threat to the town!
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Free the Captives
They've got a bunch of our people in there. I know that they're doing strange rituals to them. It looks like they're sucking the life force right out of them! You have to go into the village and free the captives before it's too late!
